Zack and Haley matched on Bumble in November 2019 while both living in Los Angeles and pursuing careers in music.

After two weekends of conflicting schedules, Haley messaged Zack with, “How spontaneous are you feeling?” Zack replied, “Go on,” and she followed with, “You. Me. Jazz. Drinks. Tonight.” His joking response—“I do, I mean yes”—would later become the title of his debut EP.

Their first date at a bar included an unexpected encounter with Andy Dick, but it was fireworks from the start. When COVID hit, they spent nearly the entire quarantine together, growing closer every day. Bumble was such a big part of their journey that it even made it into their wedding vows.

We are truly so happy and Bumble played such a huge part in making that a possibility.

In 2025, they married, and as a wedding gift, Zack secretly wrote and produced an entire EP for Haley titled I Do, I Mean Yes. The cover art featured the actual screenshot of their first Bumble exchange, and on their wedding morning, he surprised her with the EP, a record player, and speakers—prompting happy tears from Haley and her bridesmaids.

Born and raised outside Chicago but finding each other in Los Angeles, Zack and Haley share perfect alignment in values, humor, music, and life goals. Zack calls Haley not just his biggest cheerleader but his co-pilot, creative director, and safety net—someone whose belief in his music strengthens his own. They credit Bumble for making it all possible and are eager to inspire others still searching for their connection.
